Things to do while your stay at the Blooms Temple Bar Hotel Dublin

During your stay at the Blooms Temple Bar Hotel there's loads to do in Temple Bar. Diversions Temple Bar is a free, outdoor cultural festival which celebrates all forms of contemporary culture, and takes place from June to August in the outdoor performance space of Meeting House Square, in Temple Bar. You can get some of the tastiest good value snacks at the farmers Market, which takes place in Meeting House Square most weekends.

Dublin is a great place to shop, and Blooms Hotel is right-slap-bang in the middle of Dublin's two major shopping areas; Grafton Street and Henry Street. Grafton Street, and its surround, is Dublin's Premier shopping district. If your label conscious visit Brown Thomas, Irelands premier store. Big is beautiful on Henry street. No trip to Dublin is complete without a trip to Arnotts, Ireland Biggest department store. (Check out the basement for bargains!)

Dublin, Ireland's capital city, is famous for its well-preserved Georgian Architecture. The buildings around Merrion and Fitzwilliam Square typify the Irish Georgian Style. The exteriors of the buildings are understatedly dignified, and doorways are beautifully detailed. The old Irish Parliament building, located on College green, was the first Palladian style building built in the British Isles. Dublin also contains two excellent Gothic Cathedrals – Christchurch and Saint Patrick's Cathedral, these are open to the public.

Dublin Tourism's offices are on Suffolk Street (south side) and O’Connell Street (north side); they will have lists of attractions and tours to take. The tourist office also produces ‘the tourists guide to the best in Dublin’ which will be available in your hotel. The best tourist attractions are marked on the map of Dublin above.

At the end of the day, relax at our Club M nightclub right in the heart of Temple Bar
